Geoff is a serial entrepreneur with a singular focus on our strategic direction and business model. After founding and running the Global Equity Finance and Structuring Division for Macquarie Group, he’s found a way to combine his financial and business management expertise with a passion for building for-profit businesses with a social purpose. When he’s not leading the charge, you’ll find him out on his surfboard.

With a background in creating and launching complex fintech platforms, Stephen has experience spanning product and systems development, technology, sales and marketing. For LanternPay, Stephen develops and executes the platform strategy, distilling complex stakeholder requirements into a simple, scalable solution to achieve our social ambitions. When he’s not rallying our product team, you’ll find him zooming around – piloting an aircraft or on his electric skateboard.
General Manager – Product | Co-Founder
A life-long software developer, Chris was a lead R&D engineer for Siemens in the US before becoming the founding CTO of our sister company Flexischools and creator of our proprietary technology. Driving a tech strategy of continuous delivery and evolutionary architecture, Chris fosters a strong connection to our goal to simplify the claiming process for our customers. When he’s not overseeing development, he’s volunteering with the NSW SES or bingeing on terrible science fiction.

Before joining team LanternPay, Brett was the CEO of our sister company Flexischools. With a strong customer focus and belief in challenging the status quo, he spent a large part of his career on the executive team at ING DIRECT building Australia’s most loved bank. When he’s not working with all our teams to deliver a better way to get paid, you’ll find him out for a run, on the golf course or planning his next exotic holiday in Carol the caravan.
Chief Operating Officer
Nitin is a highly skilled automation testing and quality assurance professional with more than a decade of experience, including time at CBA where he was instrumental in creating automation strategy and frameworks while leading a team of testers. In LanternPay, Nitin works closely with the engineering team, making a significant difference to how we develop and deliver quality products to our customers. When he’s not at work, Nitin likes to spend time biking with his son.
Lead Automation Engineer
Greg brings his experience from years in the trenches implementing technology and leading teams across a broad range of industries. Having founded, direct and successfully exited his own start-up, Greg has experienced the ups and downs of being a founder and uses those learnings to improve our technology, people and process and deliver value to our customers. When he’s not leading the team to build products that our customers love, you’ll find him renovating his 1950s house.
Head of Engineering
Simon leads our markets team delivering growth for our platform across industries. Formerly the CEO of HICAPS, Simon draws on broad experience from health claiming, e-commerce, banking and consulting to help our clients improve customer experiences through digital transformation. When he’s not being a change agent specialising in digital disruption, collaboration and leadership, you’ll find him in the kitchen refining his bread baking skills.
General Manager – Markets
Prior to LanternPay, Andrew held multiple senior roles at Westpac, was Chief of Staff to a Federal Govt Cabinet Minister and spent 10 years in the RAAF as a fighter pilot. Andrew brings this diverse experience to help large government and commercial insurance schemes connect to LanternPay, transforming their service provider experience and operations. When he’s not talking technology, he’ll be in Canberra with his wife and three daughters (or off on a day trip to the snow!).
General Manager – Provider
12 years of personal experience supporting his daughter’s high and complex needs motivated Mick to establish an innovative healthcare service provider business delivering results for kids through intensive therapy. Having seen firsthand that greater efficiency for providers results in significant patient benefits, Mick brings his passion and finance experience to LanternPay’s mission. Mick enjoys family time with his wife and two daughters and sneaking in the occasional round of golf.
Head of Partnerships
Rehan brings his lived experience with disability and passion for building and growing businesses to shape and deliver LanternPay’s strategy for the NDIS. He combines skills gained from over a decade in investment banking with his desire to improve the way individuals, plan managers and providers transact. When he’s not living and breathing the NDIS, you’ll find him restoring cars to their former glory.
General Manager – Disability
Jo has more than 15 years of brand and marketing experience across the accounting and finance sectors. Prior to joining LanternPay, Jo was Global Head of Marketing and Communications for a large corporate where she led the strategy development and operational delivery of brand, marketing and communications activity, driving market wide awareness, adoption and use and ensuring strong market advocacy.
Head of Provider Acquisition
Emma-Louise drives the optimisation and streamlining of our Customer Support function to enable the team to provide excellence in customer service for our LanternPay user community. Emma-Louise has a background in law and social work and brings a wide array of experience in service roles as well as a passion for bringing about positive change in communities. When Emma isn’t working her magic on our operational processes, she’s spending quality time with her new little family.
